Recently I acquired a set of JDM SiR II guages minus the cluster housing. My question is what should I do to get the needles to light up again? I installed them in my factory SI cluster housing and I do not want to source the SIR II one due to expense. I thought someone had posted a HOW TO on needle lighting. Any help would be appreciated.

I always thought that the lighting for the needles came from the same source as the normal lighting that lights up the faces...

I thought so too but I guess not. Anyways, Relic I thought you posted a HOW TO months back on your separate site page of your own?

nope, not me. I had an older link on how to make the needles glow using LEDs but it required pulling the needles and re-calibrating everything. I've done it on my own cluster more times than I can count, but it's not something I'd suggest doing unless you have access to $1000+ electronic equipment.

Moto posted the how-to on the enabling the rear hatch light on an SiRII cluster.

Thanks anyways Relic. I just need to install more lighting inside the cluster on the backside. I seen this set of gauges light before cause they were my brothers, so I know how they are supposed to look. Once installed in my ride though they did not light, I dunno.
