Stupid question, really stupid, but I'm really sick, and very tired and I cant think......But the washers for the rear hood bump up go under the main hinge at the frame, or at just the one bolt on the hinge to the hood? Do you think this would affect anything if you have hood dampeners?

BTW anyone got pics of where they go. i have seen a million pics of the cars with them but no detail.

I'm sure the millions of washer goes to the bolt on the rear(near the windshield/door/a-pillar).

I don't see why not the hood damper wouldn't work.

I've seen it done both ways.
between the hinge and chassis tends to be the better way, but only if you put in good sized washers to keep the hood from being able to rock back and forth.

most people put them under the two bolts between the hinge and hood, which works fine, but it pushes the hood back slightly when it's up and you can see the washers when the hood is up.

the only thing I'd worry about with the hood dampers is the length of the bolts. Other than that I don't see how it would change anything to the point of creating problems.

I just finished a 5 hour detail job of the car, and I think I'm going to opt not to do it.

it's kind of a faded fad to do it. Unless you have bad underhood temp problems...
