k, so my hatch build has officially started. Ive got my new rims/tires chillin in boxes ready to go, ordering ksports tomorrow, asr rear subframe kit with asr 24mm sway, and blow lcas.
I know with such a large rear sway, i need to upgrade the front, if it has one at all. To keep in good balance what size should I go for up front? 22F and 24R? the car is being built crvtec highish comp, all motor corner machine. also will be my DD. Its already caged, so what else if any in form of rigidity should i add? _________________

what spring rates are you getting with the ksports? (personally I like PICs better)
Are you running Highspeed track events or parkinglot events?
the 22F will obviously give you more steering than the 24F, but it may be too much.
speaking solely as a daily driver... I tried a 22F with a 23R and I didn't really like it. It made daily driving the car a headache since the back end liked to get a little happier than I wanted especially with a drink between my legs.
(small Wendys drinks from now on) _________________ help support e-hatch --> http://www.e-hatch.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1992 |

hmm. well this car will be driven everyday for sure. glad i havent bought the asr setup just yet. this car im about 90% sure will never see actual autoX type events. Seeing how there are 0 around.
more so taking on the dragon and having fun on my local curvyass roads.
what size front nd rear would be nice for a DD? springrates IDK. i can order custom rates, says they come with optimal rates already, but optimal for what IDK?
what SR should I ask for? As far as bumpy ride and such, with this car i really dont care, as long as it doesnt kill the car itself. _________________

you can't go wrong with a 24F/22R w/ASR setup as far as sways. It balances out the car nicely for the street. At least it has with both spring/shock setups I've had on my hatch with them.
Neuspeed Race with Illuminas. (8kF/7kR progressive rate) Daily driving ride was smooth, cornering never created problems unless you were hard on the brakes and tried to change two lanes at the same time, the rear liked to get a little waggly then, but only then.
On the track the car was a little sloppy till the springs set in the non progressive rate then it felt great.
PIC Select P2s. (10kF/8kR linear rate) Daily driving became a little stiff on the chicago roads. Even though the car handled great, I found my older back not enjoying the drive as much anymore, and my gf didn't like it at all. (DelSol seats do not soak up anything)
On the track, heaven. I have found, on a few tracks, that I can't get as much steering as I'd like with the damping adjustment, so I have the 23R handy. _________________ help support e-hatch --> http://www.e-hatch.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1992 |

what comes with 24 front oem that i can swap? or is that a buy only.
the only asr sways ive seen is the 24 rear.
so with the k sports look for something in the area of 8f 7r? the only track the car will actually see is the drag strip once in a bluemoon. by all means its a pure streetcar, unless someone builds a track near, which is super highly doubtful. _________________

most integras come with a 24mm front.
In the rear, the USDM ITR is 22mm, 23mm for JDM.
you can buy the ASR rear brace and the sway elsewhere. (that's what I did)
8kF/6kR (linear springs) is where I would aim for a good relatively smooth daily driver setup... soft enough to not kill your back over harsh roads yet not too soft so it wallows when you push. _________________ help support e-hatch --> http://www.e-hatch.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1992 |

k so i spoke with the guys about getting linear 8kF/6kR, they said that would be soft for the shock valving...
im seriously considering just getting koni yellows and custom springrate GC's. _________________

shock valving has to change with the spring rate, a 10kF/8kR setup maybe your beset option then...
the 8k fronts will make the car pitch more then the 10k fronts under braking (for obvious reasons) but at the same time it will also make for a better ride...
it's a balancing act between ride quality and stiffness for when you want to push things.
If you can find someone with a similar setup and go for a ride. That's by far the best way to go. _________________ help support e-hatch --> http://www.e-hatch.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1992 |
