thanks for the comment, there are several areas where I know I shouldn't have to lift but something in my brain makes me do it every time... I think I need to put my left foot on top of my right foot and pray.

For sure, that was always my thing, I wouldn't pound the pedal till the last minute, but you just gotta get over it, it took me spinning out a couple times to finally figure out how to do it proper, but yeah, looked to me

critiques are seldom polite, at least not the ones that are worth anything.

sorry, that's the default codec for the conversion/crop program I use.

codec located @ http://www.xvid.org/

Good Vid, Your line looked really good. Its hard to tell in the video but it seemed like you lifted a little on one or two of the higher speed corners when you could have been on the gas and I thought you could have down shifted on one of the slower corners but its an HPDE event so no reason to push too hard. All in all it looked really good to me I guess I cant be brutal. What motor tires and suspension are you running?

Also whats your brake setup it seemed like you were braking a little early but if you dont have good brakes thats understandable. I like that track

that track is a blast. It's far from the nicest one around but it favors smaller lower power cars. Smile

I'm a little paranoid about braking zones, been off track a few times, twice bad enough to required to be towed back to the pit. If this was a track only car I'd be all in, but it still gets me home after the event. And the track is two hours away...

I know exactly what you're talking about with the downshift, it's one of those corners that it's questionable if I should or not. I tried downshifting in a few runs but the location of the up shift felt really awkward and my times got worse, so I've opted to stick with 3rd through there.

2 and 5 piss me off to no end every time I feel myself chicken out. All though the one time I got myself to hold it for turn 2, it was not a good thing. Lets just say that I know what trees look like in the rear view mirror... and I wasn't going forward.

92 hatch
Motor - '00 ITR stock
tires - RT615 on 15x7 Hanabi
suspension - PIC Select, with a special 10kF/10kR setup. I may be jumping to a 10kF/12kR setup for the spring.
sways - 24mmF/23mmR
Brakes - Carbotech XP10(F) XP8(R)
There's way more braking there than the tires can handle, especially with the 1" MS and upgraded BB.

Part of me letting off for the higher speed corners is the understeer that I haven't gotten dialed out yet. Hopefully the stiffer springs in the rear should push me in the right direction. Plus I'm hoping to do a little aero experimenting in the front. Smile
