Friday afternoon @ 8PM. My little brother(18years old) wanted to take the AutoX hatch for spin after a little suspension tuning was done. 3 minutes later the unthinkable happen. I receive a phone call that he crash the car. It happen right around the corner

He appeared to be shaken up on the phone. And said he was fine with just a few scratch. He explain that the damage was to the driver door.

"OK", I though to myself. We'll just replace that with the other stock civic and be ready for autox tomorrow.

Got to the scene. Check him out and he was fine. I took a look at the car and the first word I said was. "It's totaled".

He enter a right hand turn. I estimate 50mph. Lift off-throttle and car oversteer and slide into a telephone pole with a small hill/hump.

Luckily, the car was still drive able. The engine/transmission was untouched. But the rear driver trailarm maybe bent.

He's really lucky to be alive.

Don't ask if I'm gonna part out the car or call for first dips. Right now I'm unsure of what to do. Either find a rolling shell to rebuilt or sell it all and buy the RX-7 FD3S.

and what is your little brother doing for you now?
I'm thinking personal slave for a few years...

the more I look at the damage, he is lucky to be alive.

Wow I'm glad he's alive. Haha, I laughed at the part where it was only door damage =]

Time to upgrade buddy! My hatch got totaled also.. the only logical outcome is to upgrade.
