well my friend has a 97 accord and she told me that her brakes were making a noise when she does right turns..the noise is coming from the driver side front and it does this noise when ur not applying the brakes. but goes away when u apply them... i replaced both front pads tho they didnt wear down to the noise indicator yet. The right side had little cracks in the pad. I also replaced the right caliper and bleed the whole system. The noise went away for about 20 miles then came back. I looked at everything closely and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. i also made sure it wasnt the spash guard. i also put the front end of the car on jack stands and had her acelerate and turn looking for anything rubbing... i found nothing... I am stumped.. the only thing i havent done yet are the rotors ..they still seem to be in good cond. but not sure... i am stumped .. any suggestions?

what kind of noise is it?
I know describing it in words is a pain... but give it a shot.
is it a clicking noise? whirring? scraping? louder or change pitch with speed?

this same thing is happening with my car but it sounds like its coming from my drivers side rear. It sounds like the the noise your car would make if you needed new brakes except it goes away when you push the brakes. mine is very quiet. i have noticed though, if i take a hard left turn while its doing it, it goes away. weird

it sounds like a scraping noise.. kinda like when the wear indicator is scraping against the rotor.. but i replaced both pads and still makes the noise.. so i thought i was the maybe the caliper not releasing the pads.... but that didnt fix it either.. also it doesnt seem to change in pitch or loudness when u increase speed... when u jerk the wheel quickly to the right as if u were tryin to avoid a pot hole it also makes the noise...i am gettin pretty frustrated with it...one thing i did notice was the car is missing 1 of the 2 bolts that attaches the brake line to the shock..the brake line isnt rubbing or gettin in the way of anything so i didnt think that would be the prob..

Could it be the dust cover scraping the rotor?

my buddy was having a similar problem and we pulled his wheel off and it ended up being a rock in between the dust cover and the rotor. im gonna look at mine tomorrow

highly doubtful it's the missing brake line bolt. they don't do much to begin with. Unless it's obvious it's rubbing on something...

the dust cover does sound like that, if it's bent or rubbing on the rotor it will do like your saying. Which is often harder to find that you would think.
(jack up front of car, remove rim, have someone turn other tire slowly, listen for the noise)

it could also be bearings. does it go away completely when you turn one way and get worse when you turn the other?

thanks for the suggestion guys but i already put the car on jack stands and had her acele, brake, turn in both directions..everything... as i was under the car looking but did find anything..it didnt make the noise when it was on the jack stands.. the noise only comes on when the tires are on and you are driving it. it also only makes the noise when u turn right.. hit the brakes when the noise is occuring stops it.. and sometimes turning left will stop the noise.. doesnt really seem like its a wheel bearing either..but not really sure what one sounds like when they go out.. i'm clueless now..

based on that info it sounds a lot like wheel bearing to me.
it could also be the axle nut being loose... unbend outer ring, retorque, rebend ring.
