i kept on forgetting to post this.

i've had my OEM JDM side mirrors (powered, non-power folding) for 2 years now. one thing i noticed from the day i had them installed was there was significant wind noise. i took them out and put them back on to make sure that the fitting was right yet the wind noise is still there.

has anyone noticed this on their EK9/EK4/regular JDM side mirrors? or am i missing something?

i think its normal coz now it has that gap between the mirror and the mounting plate. the USDM one blends onto the mounting plate and when u have a gap, the noise runs through there. did u replace the plastic panel on the inside?

yeah i'm not really bothered by it. just want to bring it up here so everyone would know. i still have to replace the plastic triangular panel/manual mirror adjust blockoff.

spoon mirrors are cool but i'm happy with what i have right now.

i'll take into consideration that foam replacement idea you suggested though.
